ABC Day

Like I stated in my previous post, this week is Senior Week where we seniors dress up. Today was ABC (Anything But Clothes) Day. Because I spent so much time and effort working on my Holly Golightly outfit for Character Day, I did not participate. I did, although, see some pretty incredible creations throughout the day. In the picture below, you will see my peer, Esther, in a newspaper dress. I was in awe. I could tell the dress was well made. And the bow was such a perfect touch!

Holly Golightly

This week at my school is Senior Week! That just means that every day we are assigned different categories to dress up. Yesterday was Character Day and I went dressed as Holly Golightly from "Breakfast at Tiffany's." She is the epitome of elegance and I was absolutely thrilled to be her for a day. Everybody who knew who I was loved it.

Spring is Coming!

My friend, Meg, and I decided to start dressing in spring clothes a little early this year. Since the weather permits and since we are so close to springtime, I decided it was acceptable. Meg decided to put the focus on her beautiful blue statement necklace and pair it with a neutral top and sandals. It's simple and classic. I, on the other hand, decided to wear a brightly colored outfit. The chevron skirt paired with a solid fuchsia top is perfectly quirky and fun. As you begin to fall into the winter blues, try to come up with new ideas for outfits for the upcoming warm weather. Spring is always my favorite and I cannot contain my excitement! Bonne chance, mes amis!
